Point Allocation
Allocate captures tradeoffs by distributing a fixed point budget across alternatives within each criterion.
It reflects relative preference strength per criterion and combines those splits with your criterion weights.
Forced allocation can exaggerate small differences. Revisit splits when priorities or information change.
How this score is calculated
For each criterion, you distribute 100 points across alternatives.
Each criterion contribution is: (criterion weight) × (points ÷ 10)
Final score for each alternative is: Σ(weight × points/10) ÷ Σ(weights)
